NEW YORK FASHION WEEK
Now that Fashion Week has wrapped, we're sharing some of our favorite looks and forecast on some upcoming Spring trends.
Playful, feminine and flirty best describes this collection from Lela Rose. Yellow (specifically mustard yellow) was a mainstay on the runways and we expect it to be one of spring hottest's colors.
Designer Tadashi Shoji is a favorite of ours and his impeccable collection did not disappoint. It featured surreal color-scapes and was inspired by spiritual symbols and fauna. Look for lapis blue to also make a splash this upcoming spring.
Designer Carolina Herrera was celebrating 35 years in the fashion industry and appropriately dug into her archives a bit for this collection by recalling graphic monochromes and sculptural tailoring. Plus, the idea of matching shoes to skirt seems to be big, and the far right look was one of the best examples.
